How should frozen rice be thawed?

In the refrigerator. Alternatively, you can microwave the rice if you wish to consume it immediately. Assuming it is stored in a sealable bag, open the bag about 1/4 inch so that steam can escape once you begin microwaving. .After opening the bag 1/4 inch,. put it  in the microwave on full power for 3 minutes. The bag will puff up. Let the bag sit for 1 minute, then pour it into a dish and serve.
