Can I freeze hummus?
You can, but some manufacturers note that freezing hummus will alter its smooth, rich texture. If you plan to freeze hummus, store it in an airtight, lidded plastic container. Leave about an inch of head space to accommodate the expansion that occurs when moist products freeze. Frozen hummus should be defrosted and consumed within a month.
