Can margarine be frozen?

Most margarine products can be frozen for up to 12 months at 0° F before significantly losing texture and flavor. But check the product label; some manufacturers don’t recommend freezing. For example, the label on the light form of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter says, “Keep refrigerated. Do not freeze.”
