Can I eat ice cream if I'm lactose intolerant?

It depends. Lactose intolerance isn't generally an all-or-nothing condition; its severity varies from person to person. It also depends on the ice cream, though most brands are made with milk solids that increase lactose content.

There are soy ice creams on the market which are pretty tasty and are an excellent alternative for people who are lactose intolerant.
