Corn

Summertime is high season for corn on the cob, a staple of family cookouts. Corn can be prepared in any number of ways: boiled, steamed or, in the spirit of cookouts, roasted on the grill. If you don't like the taste of roasted corn, leave the husks intact during grilling. Properly cooked corn will be tender to the bite and appear opaque rather than translucent.
