How long after purchase will fresh beef remain good to eat?

Fresh roasts should be consumed or frozen within 3-5 days of purchase. Steaks should be consumed or frozen with 2 days.

Frozen steaks and roasts will keep indefinitely but will taste best if consumed within 6- 12 months for steaks and 9-12 months for roasts.
